My story began as a self-taught graphic designer, driven by a passion for aesthetics and creative expression. Over time, I realized the true power of design lies in marrying visual appeal with functional user journeys, which led me to pursue UX design. My commitment to growth has guided me to explore emerging tools, including AI, and possibilities like VR. Through every project, I’ve learned the value of empathy and collaboration in crafting meaningful, user-centric experiences. I’m excited to continue pushing boundaries and creating designs that resonate with people on a deeper level.

What I Bring to the Table

Graphic Design

Throughout my career as a graphic designer, I’ve built brand visual identities from the ground up, focusing on concept ideation, color theory, typography, and layout design to craft cohesive and impactful brand experiences. My work spans production art for print and digital channels, refining product imagery, sourcing stock photos, and creating social media and email content to support digital marketing campaigns. I’ve helped clients build engaging online presences by combining strong visual storytelling with effective marketing strategies, ensuring their brands resonate across platforms.

 

Leveraging tools like Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva, along with social media management platforms like Tailwind, Buffer, and Hootsuite, I streamline workflows and deliver high-quality, visually compelling solutions that connect with target audiences and achieve measurable results.

Web Design

Previously, I operated my own business, BrainyMastermind, where I designed and built websites on platforms like WordPress, Wix, and Shopify for a variety of clients. My work ranged from creating one-page landing pages to full-scale websites and e-commerce solutions, focusing on both functionality and aesthetics. With a foundation in basic HTML and CSS, I ensured each site was visually appealing, technically sound, and optimized for seamless navigation and discoverability through the integration of UX principles and SEO strategies. I am experienced in testing designs across multiple breakpoints and browsers to ensure responsive performance.

Currently, I design webpages for a Fortune 500 company’s web content marketing team, utilizing Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) to craft modern, user-friendly web experiences tailored to diverse audiences.

UX Design

I specialize in designing intuitive user experiences for both app and responsive web design, leveraging research-driven methodologies such as UX research, competitor analysis, empathy mapping, user flows, and persona development. As a graduate of the Google UX Design Certificate program, I’ve built a strong foundation in user-centered thinking, agile development, and accessibility standards, which I apply to create meaningful digital solutions.

 

My app design process includes wireframing, prototyping, and crafting engaging user interface elements using Figma and Adobe XD, incorporating interactive prototypes to visualize and test functionality early on. Through iterative design and usability testing, I refine each project to address user needs and align with business goals. With expertise in information architecture, visual hierarchy, and accessibility, I ensure every design is visually appealing, responsive, and seamless to navigate. Driven by empathy and curiosity, I view each project as an opportunity to innovate, enhance the user journey, and deliver digital experiences that resonate with audiences.
